Established in 2004
JayMac is owned and run by Joseph McKeown who is a qualified Data Protection Officer (ISEB) and Home Office Approved "Single Point of Contact" (SPOC) with regard to the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIPA).
With over 10 years experience in data protection to date, he started the company in order to provide data protection training for the staff of other organisations, including; Greater Merseyside Connexions Partnership Limited, Sure Start Plus, Lancashire County Council and CXL.
He then progressed onto providing advice and guidance in all matters concerning the Data Protection Act 1998, The Freedom of Information Act 2000 and other legislation in respect of information handling and processing.
As the company has grown it has more recently begun to provide specialised documentation for Information Sharing such as policies, protocols, agreements, consent forms, and work instructions for staff and can now provide a full "Data Protection Audit" to ensure companies compy with all aspects of Information Handling legislation
